🥋 Budo Shin Ryu Interclub Groundwork Competition
For ages 4–15
Fun • Safe • Child-Focused Events:
🏷️ Grab The Tag ~
Players must secure and maintain a tag while engaging in controlled ground combat, using positioning and balance to prevent opponents from taking it.
🏝️ Escape The Island ~
One student starts on their back while the other is in mount. The bottom player has 20 seconds to escape the mount and return to a standing position, while the top player works to maintain control.
🔴 Sumo Groundfighting ~
A ground-based sumo-style match where athletes use leverage, pressure, and technique to force their opponent out of the marked circle or into a losing position.
🥋 Ground Control / Pin Challenge
Entry Fees:
Tots (4–12): £5 per category
Teens (13–15): £7.50 per category
All 3 categories: £10 flat
Additional categories: £3 each
Spectators: FREE
Awards:
Tot/Junior/Teen: Participation medals
