The course starts on October 30th, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Vedic Health (15235 Shady Grove Road, Suite 100, Rockville, MD)

Instructor: Dr. Krishna Kumar retired from the U.S. Department of State in 2016 after a long career studying how people and communities heal after conflict and upheaval. He has written widely on rebuilding trust, fostering reconciliation, and overcoming social isolation, authoring 14 books and over 30 monographs. In recent years, Dr. Kumar has turned his attention to the deeply human experience of loneliness, drawing on both his professional insights and personal reflections. His work and life have given him a unique perspective on what it means to seek belonging and connection, which he now brings to this 4-week class. He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
