Join us for an exciting return to the Indiana Sanatorium on July 19th 2025 for a memorable evening of investigation! This time we have the fantastic opportunity to explore two locations. We now have access to Billy Creek Village located just a mile and a half from the Sanatorium expanding our investigative grounds. If you participated last year you will have the chance to investigate both the Indiana Sanatorium and Billy Creek Village.
This investigation will be our largest yet covering over 200 acres plus a 70-acre open-air village. We will have access to more than 120000 square feet of historic facilities including a tuberculosis hospital nursing home mental health facility and various supporting buildings with extensive steam tunnels. There’s so much to discover!

Parking: Upon arrival look for three barrels blocking the road. Turn left there and drive up the hill. The tan commercial building will be on your left.
Park there and enter where staff will welcome you. Please bring cash or use Venmo PayPal or Cash App for purchasing merchandise snacks and rental equipment kits.
Note: Indiana is one hour ahead of the Central Illinois time zone (CST).

This location is renowned for its intense activity which includes apparitions direct voice phenomena disembodied yells moving objects remarkable EVPs singing feelings of dread or heavy emotion cold spots tactile experiences and even apports (like a quarter appearing on a bed featuring a person’s birth year). Reports also include sightings of elementals in the bushes shadow people black masses and much more!
History:
The Indiana State Sanatorium was Indiana’s primary tuberculosis hospital from 1908 until 1968. After reopening as the Lee Alan Bryant Health Care Center in 1976 it operated as a nursing home and private mental health facility until its sudden closure in 2011 leaving behind numerous beds and medical equipment.
Now we have the chance to explore what remains!

At Billy Creek a child has been captured on camera standing in the doorway of the school. Reports of noises and shadowy figures in the church abound along with sounds of footsteps in the Civil War house accompanied by a man’s voice talking and yelling from above. Figures and shadows have been seen throughout the grounds. Could these be Civil War soldiers? We will soon find out.
Billy Creek Village is a 70-acre open-air living history museum and park showcasing 38 historical buildings alongside hundreds of antiques and artifacts. Located near Rockville in Adams Township Parke County Indiana this area is known as the “Covered Bridge Capital of the World” boasting 31 covered bridges. Established by local residents between 1964 and 1965 Billie Creek Village officially opened in 1969 managed by Billie Creek Village Inc. with support from Parke County Inc. The village is named after the nearby Williams Creek.
Many of the buildings date back to the early 1900s featuring structures ranging from an 1830s log cabin to a 1913 schoolhouse—all over a century old!
The Billie Creek Inn situated across the road has been independent from Billie Creek Village since 2012. In addition to the covered bridges Billie Creek Village features the 1830s Besson-DePlanty Cabin the Billie Creek Village General Store a pre-1900 post office that became the Billie Creek Village Bank the 1913 schoolhouse Dr. Rice’s mid-1800s office the 1886 St. Joseph’s Catholic Church the 1900s Gaebler Building and many more.

5 PM: Check-in to ISS begins.
7 PM: Check-in to Billie Creek.
All attendees are welcome to investigate all night long and into Sunday morning until 11:30 AM when the location closes.
Sunday
11:30 AM marks the closure of the Indiana Sanatorium location. Please ensure you exit by then.

COST:
Paranormal Access Special for just $149 for entry to both locations (will be $175 after May 1st).
$99 for Single Access to either location overnight.
$199 for VIP Access: Admit one to both locations and overnight in a room with a Queen Bed at the Commercial Building at ISS.
Rooms at ISS: Four rooms are available for overnight stays in the commercial building which I have exclusive access to. Each of these individual rooms comes equipped with a queen bed. Please note that there is NO SHOWER; the closest one is a mile and a half away at the park which I wouldn’t recommend. Only the commercial building and the upcoming coffee shop have access to power and water; the investigation buildings do not.
The commercial building offers accessible bathrooms a small kitchen featuring a refrigerator and microwave and a space for charging your devices. I have opened these four rooms for anyone interested in renting for the night as an alternative to hotels. It’s first come first served but please keep in mind that there is no shower available. Each ticket includes VIP access for one guest and a queen bed for the night. You may share your room with another guest but they must purchase their own admission ticket as well.

The commercial building has 4 rooms available but there are no showers on-site. If you’re interested in staying in the commercial building that has a group bathroom but no shower you MUST purchase a VIP ticket. Keep in mind it may be hot and if you sweat all day there will be no shower facilities. There is a public shower at the park over a mile away. These rooms are single rooms but they have Queen size beds. The VIP ticket is for admission for one but you may share the queen bed with another guest if you choose to do so. The building is air-conditioned and these tickets are first come first served.

How late can we investigate on Saturday night?
You can investigate throughout the night until the morning hours with no set ending time. We conclude Sunday at 11:30 AM.
What should I bring?
You must bring a flashlight as you’ll be walking outside between areas. An umbrella and raincoat are recommended in case of rain. Feel free to bring your own ghost-hunting gear (recorders SLS cameras EMF detectors cameras snacks water etc.). Rental kits will be available. You MUST leave your driver’s license with us to rent a kit and must return your kit no later than 2 AM to get your license back.
What should I wear?
Dress appropriately for the weather and evening conditions. Be prepared for walking into buildings with debris such as bricks rocks boards and glass. Sandals are not recommended.
What if it rains?
Most locations are indoors except for the transitions between areas every hour so bring an umbrella and/or raincoat if rain is expected.

Cancellations:
If the event is canceled by the promoter or location due to emergencies severe weather or other disasters all purchased tickets will be rescheduled or refunded.
Refunds:
Unfortunately no refunds are available. If you need to resell your ticket please let me know. To prevent scams all ticket resales must go through Third Eye Event Productions LLC. Don’t purchase tickets from anyone advertising on social media except through The Haunted Mafia website. While we’ll try to assist in reselling your ticket we can’t guarantee it especially as the event date approaches.
When attending please remember the following:
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED.
Do not consume alcohol before or during the event; we want everyone to remain sober.
Unruly Behavior:
Anyone causing disruptions to the tour guides staff or fellow attendees will be asked to leave without question. Any individual who is excessively loud or disruptive will be asked to exit and will not be welcomed back. We aim to keep this event enjoyable for everyone without interruptions or distractions.
