This year marks the 24th Annual King of the Mountain Bike Race, and the second year without our beloved founder and leader, John Farr. John’s passion and dedication built this event into what it is today. His energy, vision, and love for the cycling community were the heart of KOM, and his absence is deeply felt.

Yet this year, we ride with renewed determination to honor his legacy. We invite all riders—whether longtime KOM veterans or first-time participants—to join us in celebrating John’s spirit. Together, let’s make this race a powerful tribute to everything he stood for: perseverance, community, and the joy of conquering the climb.
