Blessing of Pets

St. Francis of Assisi was known for his love of God’s creation. It is appropriate to honor the saints triumphant by emulating their good work and examples of faith. So on the Feast of St. Francis, we show our appreciation for God’s handiwork by thanking Him for those creatures entrusted to our care. Please bring your pets—on a leash or in a carrier—for a blessing and brief service! Service will meet on the Pray Path behind the church.
