Bay Education Day

Dive into the wonders of our bays at Bay Education Day on Saturday, October 25, from 12–4 PM at the Bay Education Center in Rockport (121 Seabreeze Dr.).

This free, family-friendly event features hands-on activities like beachcombing, plankton tows, and beach seining, as well as arts & crafts, fish printing, and wildflower seed bombs. Enjoy engaging talks by UTMSI scientists, explore partner booths from local organizations, and catch Science on a Sphere® shows.

Sponsored by H-E-B and hosted by the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, Bay Education Day is a fun celebration of science, stewardship, and community—explore, learn, and discover the magic of our bays!
