Make your own bat craft and take it on a guided hike as we search for real bats!
Learn about bats through games and a craft. When we're done, we'll take a short walk to look and listen for bats. We'll use an Echo Meter, which picks up on bat calls and lets us know what species if flying above us!
Where: CCC Rec Hall. Note - there is no AC or heat in the Rec Hall.
Bring: hydration, bug spray, and dress for the weather.

Cost: Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
- Large groups please contact Sara Rock for a private event.
- Program may be canceled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
