Free youth heart screening!

Non-music post but super important for our Brevard County, Florida followers. Saturday Feb 7 2026 is National Youth Heart Screening Day. From 10am - 1pm, please bring your kids between the ages of 10-25 for a free Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) to the address on the flyer. Stacy, our lead singer, is the Brevard County Heart Screening Director for the non-profit Who We Play For and she will be leading the event.

As many of you know, her son Alexander died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest at the age 21 on Dec 13, 2021 due to a previously unknown heart condition (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) that was missed on every childhood checkup he ever had. Did you know that a stethoscope misses about 96% of what can cause SCA in youth. And that 1 in 300 youth has an undetected potentially deadly heart condition.

This is for ALL YOUTH, not just athletes. Any kid can have an undetected heart condition, regardless of their level of physical activity. We will also be teaching CPR & how to use an AED. A great event for the whole family to come by. Learn what to do in a cardiac emergency! Anyone can save a life.
