Ger Liang Tysk is the chef, owner, and creative force behind Red Kettle Foods and their delicious kimchi. She is a first-generation Asian-American dedicated to showcasing the humble ingredients that define East Asian cuisine - Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food - and to celebrate culture, community, and family. Naturally fermented in Belfast, their small-batch kimchi and pickles bring fresh Maine ingredients and time-honored Asian fermentation traditions together in a delicious blend of sour, sweet, spice, and umami.
