Join us at the beautiful Botanical Gardens at this years (Rockhampton) Walk to Remember. It's a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us. We'll be meeting from 9am for a 9:30am start.
The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community. The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering, a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself - taking the footsteps our babies could not.
Following the Walk, we invite you to stay on to enjoy some morning tea with us all. Please note that Raffle Tickets will not be sold at this year's walk but we will have a range of Red Nose candles, plushies and merch available for purchase.
The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.
Each adult or child ticket includes one pinwheel. Pinwheels are not suitable for children under 3, so please select the ticket option reflecting this.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
