Academy for Performing Arts @ Morris Knolls High School

8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians are invited to learn about the Academy for Performing Arts - or located at Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway. This Academy offers a major in Dance or Musical Theatre.

- Students with a Dance major will work with master teachers and professional choreographers.

- Students with a Musical Theatre major will be ready for almost any college major or career path encountered in the 21st Century, having acquired enhanced and developed imaginative capacity, flexible ways of thinking, self-discipline, and sophisticated presentation skills.

The academy programs at MCVSD allow high school students to explore specialized fields of study while completing their academic requirements. Each academy offers a unique course sequence along with opportunities for internships and college credit. Combining rigorous academics with hands-on, career-focused learning, the programs help students develop essential skills and prepare for future opportunities.
