Lecture: The Writer’s Odyssey: From Dreamer to Author

Western is excited to welcome award-winning fantasy author and writing coach Lindsay Schopfer for two engaging writing events this November. These sessions are part of Western’s ongoing commitment to inspiring creativity and supporting writers across campus and the local community.

During this lecture and reading, Schopfer will reflect on his personal journey as a writer, starting from his early days of dream-chasing to becoming a published author and beyond. Attendees should come prepared to be inspired while receiving real-world advice on overcoming creative hurdles, building a writing routine, and navigating the path to publication.
