Celebration of 60 years of Racial Integration

Meet Luther Ingram, President/CEO of Roper Corp., LaFayette, Georgia. Speaker for Walker County's Celebration of 60 years of Racial Integration. This will be a semi-formal Gala, Awards Banquet. Come out, Support and show your appreciation to those African Americans who were the Trailblazers' (students & teachers) who First integrated schools such as Chattanooga Valley Elementary, Rossville High, LaFayette High and Gordon-Lee schools. Those students took the journey, alone. Let's show them, they are not alone and are truly appreciated! Also, we will be celebrating WCAAHAA'S 25th Anniversary. Tickets now on sale at Eventbrite, Walker County African American Museum and Multicultural Center 309 N. Main Street, Frid. & Sat. 1 to 5pm. Messenger me and other locations pending. Gala will be held at 4pm on Oct. 11, 2025 at the Walker County Civic Center, Hwy 27. Deadline for ticket purchase is September 19th at 11:30 pm. Tickets are $50 ages. 13 and above; $25, ages 10 to 12. Sorry, no one under 10 years old.
