Welcoming back the famous WGOB race night for 2025. We'll be hitting it hard with cheap drinks, gambling, catching up with friends and protein snacks (hotdogs).
We're also turning the clock back, not just on the club decor and 80's horse races, you'll also have the chance to not only purchase your own horse, but also name it (offensive names only, so we can read them out on the night). More importantly, if your tired old horse wins the race, you'll scoop a nice bit of prize money to spend at the bar.
Race wins are as follows :
£5 horse race win = £25
£10 horse race win = £50
We'll wrap the evening up with an auction and the chance to overpay for a horse - while this seems like a catch, the winning pot for the last race, normally gives you a £100 win, if you're lucky enough to win and we may even chuck some prize money to runner up.
Remember, this is your way of supporting the club through a tricky period, in it's 100+ year history.
