ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for Paws & Purpose, a special afternoon of dog-friendly fun and community connection to benefit Cornerstone VNA’s (CVNA) Pet Peace of Mind® program, one of Golden Dog Adventure Co.’s charitable partners.
Bring your dog and your friends for a lively outdoor event filled with enrichment activities, food, and opportunities to learn more about the vital support this program provides to the pets of hospice patients.
WHAT TO EXPECT: (Partners and activities subject to change - watch for additional vendors coming soon!)
Enrichment and Activities
-Sensory Explorers experience by Barrington Barks & Behavior — a unique way for your dog to engage all their senses.
-Golden Dog Adventure Co. will bring mental and physical enrichment equipment from their Playground, plus splash pools for pups to cool off and play.
-Pup cups will be available for dogs from Golden Dog — a donation is suggested to benefit the Pet Peace of Mind program.
-A bobbing game for dogs with kickin' glass, a company who will also be selling hand-crafted, original, whimsical pet scenes made with sea glass and recycled glass with pen & ink.
-Dog pawprint tattoos for kids and adults with Diane Morgan who will also be selling hats.
-Meet with Jody Crotty, Animal Communicator, for a unique opportunity to connect more deeply with your pet.
Dog-Themed Crafts
-Creative activities hosted by Pet Supplies Plus - Somersworth.
-Meet CVNA volunteers and engage in different Arts and crafts activities with your dog.
Food/Drink
-Chef Ken Payette will be on site with delicious offerings for human guests.
-Joey's Dog House will be serving gourmet hot dogs with side fixin's like baked beans, mac n' cheese, and potato salad.
Raffles and More
-Enter to win exciting prizes while supporting the Pet Peace of Mind program.
Meet the Team
-Talk with Cornerstone VNA staff to learn how you can support the program through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word.
This is a free event, but REGISTRATION is REQUIRED so we can plan accordingly. All dogs must remain leashed, and all attendees will be asked to sign a waiver which will be included with your registration email confirmation.
