Here’s the basic info on Private Classes or Mentoring:
One on One/Mentoring is $75 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum and a 4-hour maximum per day. Select the start date that you would like to start your project from the link below.
Your choice of project and how to proceed: do the work yourself, have us assist you, or use my services only. During our time in the studio, we can work on almost anything you’d like, keeping in mind the amount of time we have. During this time, you can ask questions and we will work together to make your special piece. Or if you just want to have a hand in it, and we do the work for the class you are essentially “renting” our services during that time, and I can work on the piece either with you or FOR you!
Basic upholstery supplies are included in the lesson fee, as well as full use of the shop and tools. You will supply your own fabric, or if you need fabric or new foam, that can be purchased from us during our time.
Each lesson will be custom-designed for YOU and your specific project and personal goals.
Maybe you want to learn the basics. Perhaps you have a special piece you’ve always wanted to get reupholstered. Or, maybe you want to learn upholstery bit-by-bit, by learning with an instructor, going home and practicing, and coming back another time to continue – the choice is yours! Before the lesson starts, we will hold a prep session to help you get ready for the class. This will help prepare your project and help us work on obtaining your goals for the project. We will also step you through how to take apart the piece that you're working on.
We’re happy to make suggestions for appropriate projects to bring, or tell you what we can do in that time with the project you have.
