Join us at Hillside Shooting Sports in Roanoke as we rally around our friend, Herb Gass, in his fight against cancer.
Last year, Herb was diagnosed with Primary Immunodeficiency Disease. After further testing, he was diagnosed in January with Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells — the very cells that produce antibodies for the immune system. Herb is currently undergoing treatment while awaiting a bone marrow transplant.
Most recently, doctors discovered Herb also has prostate cancer. A surgery date is being scheduled to remove the prostate, with the hope that he can proceed with his bone marrow transplant as soon as he is cleared.
Despite these challenges, Herb and his wife, Jana, continue working full-time while navigating countless appointments and treatments. Your support means the world to them during this difficult season.
