At 8:00 PM EST, we welcome The Ladadas! They are the answer to the musical question “what do three friends and seasoned folksingers do after numerous decades of “9 to 5-ing”? Blair Jones, Betty Jo Taylor, and Mary Gordon Hall, all from the Charlottesville, Virginia area, are a three part harmony acoustic trio finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of being traveling troubadours. You’ll find them out on the road in a bright blue vintage VW van, heading your way to delight you with original songs and their colorful harmonious versions of carefully selected covers. At 7:30 PM EST, we welcome back The Bridge featuring Mike & Linda Franke. With their relatively new duo, Mike and Linda play a nice mix of Mike’s originals and covers of soft rock standards with Linda on the keyboard and Mike on guitar. Now in our 39th year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge.
