At 8:00 PM EST, we welcome Joshua Lungo back to the stage. Joshua is a 24-year-old folk/Americana singer-songwriter and performer based out of Charlottesville, VA. The last time he showed up at 3rd Street Coffeehouse was his first time on our stage and man, did he ever deliver! This guy is the real deal! His music and lyrics are known for their personal and literary touch. He performs all around central Virginia as a solo artist or with a small acoustic band with his dad, a close friend and his girlfriend. His shows are marked by personal stories and intimate moments. At 7:30 PM EST, we welcome 47 Trestles. 47 Trestles specializes in the emerging, virtually unheard-of genre “greenmulch”. 47 Trestles features founding members Phil McCharen and Steve Clark. Steve is a Kira Records recording artist, well know for his debut album “Dog Joggin’” and recent hit song “It Did Not End Well for the Worm”. Steve’s influences include Arlo Guthrie, the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, and Trout Fishing in America. Phil’s bass playing roots are grounded in his admiration of the Beatles and of progressive rock bands such as Yes and the Dixie Dregs, contrasted with his fondness for most flavors of bluegrass.

Now in our 39th year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge.
