Implementation Science Academy - Part 5

Description of Event:

The Virginia Department of Education and the Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports Research and Implementation Center (VTSS-RIC) have partnered with state and national technical assistance partners to develop an Implementation Science Academy (ISA). This registration is for the final ISA session of a five-session series that will take place over the school year. The focus of ISA is to provide division leadership teams with the skills necessary to apply implementation science to division-level work in a sustainable and scalable manner. Implementation science can be applied across domains to integrate division-identified priorities through existing MTSS work. This focus allows consistent communication and focus within the group. In addition to learning implementation science content, division teams will have the opportunity to apply their learning through application in targeted work sessions with the support of VTSS coaches.

Tuesday, July 29th

Wednesday, July 30th

• 8:00-8:45 Registration and Breakfast
• 9:00-12:00 Programming
• 12:00-12:45 Lunch
• 1:00-4:00 Programming

Audience:

VTSS Coaches and participating divisions that attended the previous ISA sessions.

Booking a hotel room:

Rooms will be booked by VTSS directly. You will not need to book your hotel room. Per travel guidelines, you must be located a minimum of 25 miles from the hotel for VTSS to pay for your overnight stay. Please indicate when you register if you need to stay overnight.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

This training is for PK-12 educational professionals participating in VTSS in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We reserve the right to cancel registrations of individuals who do not meet this criteria.

Certificates of Attendance will be distributed at the conclusion of the training. We do not issue formal Continuing Educational Units (CEUs).
