Heart Songs Bhakti Retreat w/ Darren Marc Levene

Join Darren for his Heart Songs Bhakti Retreat! This is an opportunity to take a deep dive into the heart of Bhakti Yoga. We’ll explore some of the core practices of Bhakti including kirtan, the writing and sharing of devotional poetry, and Japa meditation. The devotional mantras we’ll share together will purify the mind, heal the body, uplift the spirt, and bring us closer to God through the portal of the heart. We’ll also enjoy a traditional cacao ceremony. As a spirit ally, cacao is a mood booster and helps us to open our hearts. During this workshop we will also explore devotional songwriting. You needn’t play any instrument for this but if you do, feel free to bring it! This workshop is open to singers and non-singers alike. For those not comfortable sharing their voices, listening is fine.
