Detachment (Vairagya) Practicum With Harvey Murdoch

Derived from vi- (without/apart from) and raga (passion/attachment/coloring), vairagya is a philosophical idea which can be understood in the context of seeking to become less constrictively biased. The practice of yoga is an effective method for achieving this end and in this workshop we will discuss and practice several simple methods, to the goal of intensifying internal harmony. These suggestions will be presented in the framework of ashtanga, hatha, and kriya yoga.

No prior experience of yoga is required for this workshop. Attendance of prior workshop is not necessary. Recording of prior workshop is available upon request. The information presented is intended to be suggestive and educational rather than prescriptive and dogmatic.

Worshop is free, donations accepted, please no more than $20.
