Deck lists aren’t required but you will have to declare your commander for the evening when you sign up and cannot change commanders. If you don’t use the commander you registered you will forfeit all prizes and be disqualified from the event.
Opening round all players will be split into pods of 4 for a 90-120 minute qualifying round(based on attendance) The winner of each pod will move on to the second round and then winner of those PODs move on to the finals to play for a store credit, a Magic 30 promo, having your commander retired and wielding the Blade and forever living in infamy!
The winner of each pod in round 1 and the overall winner will receive store credit. Additional prizing based on attendance.
The King of the Hill will have their picture taken with a Blade and their commander and posted on our social media and wall of fame. The Commander that they used to win the event will be retired as a commander from all future events!
