WINNER OF ROCK SONG OF THE YEAR and NOMINATED FOR ROCK GROUP OF THE YEAR for The Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Blue Iris is a unique cover and original alternative rock band from central Illinois. You can expect a passionate and emotional performance while they put their own twist on tunes from artists like The Cure, The Scorpions, Cream, REM, Dorothy, and Jack White. The band features Jen Hargis on lead vocals/lead guitar, Bre Schaut on violin, Rob Hargis on percussion and Jason Schaut on bass guitar. Many of their original songs have been nominated five years in a row for The Josie Music Awards based out of Nashville Tennessee.
