The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority provides Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events for residents of County of Roanoke, City of Roanoke, Town of Vinton and City of Salem.
These FREE events are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 12:00 Noon. Registration is required to ensure we have adequate staff on hand for the unloading and processing of the waste. Please register for a 30 minute slot, and be at the Transfer station during that time. Registration begins the Monday after the prior month's event.
Roanoke Valley Resource Authority reserves the right to cancel events, without prior notice, due to inclement weather or other situations beyond our control. Please check our website for cancellation notices.
