FIRST SWAP AT FAIRMONT PARK (my first hosting) GET THOSE PUZZLES DONE SO YOU HAVE PLENTY TO TRADE!
Please read the following swap guidelines and info before attending the swap.
SAFETY FIRST:
Be extra careful when driving in the puzzle swap area because there are lots of distracted puzzlers walking around paying little attention to moving vehicles.
It can be quite hot outside during our summer swaps. Be sure to wear a hat and light garments, use sun block, and stay hydrated.
THE REST OF THE INFO & RULES:
We ask that you kindly conduct ONLY "pre-trade" swaps before 10:00am because it is not fair to start trading before some swappers can arrive before the 10:00 start time.
Please be sure that all puzzle pieces are bagged in the box.
Please put a Post-It Note on the front of any puzzles missing any pieces or if they are unverified complete. It is your obligation to let the person you're swapping with know if there are any missing pieces or even if there could be any missing pieces because you have not worked a puzzle.
No removing puzzles from someone's display without permission from the displayer. You can take a picture of the puzzle you want, find the owner, and ask about the swap you want to make.
Consider taking pictures of your puzzle display so that you can show them to others when you see puzzles you want to trade for them. I have seen people bring wagons and go puzzle swappers.
It helps a lot to post your name (and even picture) at your puzzle swap display so potential traders know whose puzzles they belong to and can find you.
You can trade, buy, sell, or donate your puzzles.
There will be a last chance tarp/blanket for puzzles that are NOT missing any pieces and a last chance box or tarp for missing-piece puzzles. You are welcome to take puzzles off of the tarps or out of the boxes with no trade expected. They accumulate the most puzzles near the end of the swap. What is left over will be donated.
