Fall Bird Walk at Amico Island Park (Burlington Co.)

2 - 3 miles. Fall bird migration viewing is excellent at Amico. Our return birding walk at Amico Island will again be guided by experienced birder, Susan Matson. Susan will lead us to identify the fall bird migration species. We can expect 20 to 25 warbler species, as well as raptors such as red-tailed, red-shouldered, sharp-shinned, and Coopers hawks. Wintering waterfowl, such as northern shoveler and green-winged teal arrive. Butterflies are still active through October. Most trails are wide and level, traversing meadows, forests, ponds, and wetland habitats. Some trails can be muddy, appropriate footwear is recommended. Please, no dogs.
