Purpose: Support road safety and help promote SAFE’s Finish The Ride and Finish The Run events!
🛣 Why It Matters
SAFE’s Finish events raise awareness about street safety and fund nearly half of SAFE’s annual budget. By volunteering to pass out promotional materials, you help bring this message to new audiences—and earn free entry to a future Finish event of your choice!
🧍 Volunteer Details
• Shifts available: 9 AM to 5 PM (minimum 2-hour shifts)
• Set-up begins: 9 AM
• Track your hours: Use Bloomerang to log at least 6 hours total across events to qualify for free entry
• Parking: Arrive early to secure a spot—details TBD
🍊 About the Citrus Classic Ride
• Beneficiary: Riverside Educational Enrichment Foundation (REEF)
• Routes: 100-mile, 50-mile, 30-mile, and 7-mile Family Fun Ride
• Festivities: Vendor expo, live entertainment, food, and kids’ bike rodeo
• Registration: Online until October 16; in-person available October 17–18
