Fire Cider & Knife Skills Workshop

Learn by making! Come slice, dice, and create a personalized version of this traditional vinegar winter wellness tonic. Supplies are provided for each participant to take home one personalized jar of Fire Cider to infuse and use all winter long for that congestion, cough, and general under-the-weather feeling.

NEW knife skills lesson included! Learn the correct way to hold and use a kitchen knife to slice, chop, and julienne during food preparation -- then practice it during this class!

Special guest Marielle Brinkman will provide a knife-sharpening demonstration during class. She will also sharpen one knife per student for an additional fee (see below).

Materials fee $10 + class fee $35 = $45

NOTE: Please register ASAP to avoid disappointment. This class typically sells out early!

* Optional knife sharpening is $1 per blade inch, $5 minimum. Steel knives only (no ceramic). Cash payment, payable in class.


INSTRUCTOR: Bernadett Szabo lives in Pataskala, OH on a small herb, flower, and vegetable farm. She was born in Hungary where she spent summers in her grandmother’s gardens. Once in Ohio, Bernadett joined OEFFA to deepen her knowledge of growing food and medicinal crops. She follows deep organic practices with some biodynamic principles on her homestead.
