Six days hiking the K'gari (Fraser Island) Great Walk from Dilli Village to Happy Valley through giant forests on firm trails (despite being the world's largest sand island). We camp most nights next to crystal clear, freshwater perched lakes.

The walk involves six days of hiking with the longest day 16km so, whilst challenging, there will be time to enjoy the wonderful location. Most camps are on one of the unique lakes and hiking allows us to camp in places that people in 4WDs cannot access.
This is a full pack walk, ideally you will have done overnight hikes before, know your abilities and limitations and have lightweight hiking gear. Message me if you are unsure about any of this.
We will transfer to the Island from River Heads on Monday 27 Oct and return on the ferry Saturday 1 Nov 2025.
I'm planning on taking a coach from Brisbane a day earlier and back a day later if anyone wants to join! Or if there are folks driving then we can share costs if you don't mind sharing.
Only 4 spots plus the leader and does not include transport, transfers, taxis, food, etc but if there are people interested then we can share costs.
