Access to the pitch and certain areas may be restricted on event or match days.

On special event days (e.g., Dec 21–22), access to the pitch is via T4 on the north side only; reserve benches may be restricted. Visitors can access the Maracanã Mais seating area and purchase food and drinks at the restaurant when open.
