Pre-Christmas Snowshoe / Hike - Glacial Park Conservation Area

Shhhh...don’t tell, but my shoe size is actually only an 11… A far cry from what a true yeti is. So instead of having foot extension surgery, I choose to snowshoe in the winter!

Let's make some yeti tracks with the snowshoes just before Christmas hits! With over 3400 acres of forest, Prairie and wetlands and 5+ acres of groomed trails it’s a perfect beginners destination to snowshoe.

We will meet at 10AM at the Lost Valley Visitor Center and hop on the trailhead and out from there. Bring your shoes, dress warm, maybe a backpack with a thermos of coffee… Or maybe a little kicker in that coffee if you’re already feeling the holiday spirit!

Don’t have your own snowshoes but want to learn what the amazingness of snowshoeing is? Don’t worry, Glacier Park rents them for $10 and a $20 deposit.

Remember that this event is predicated on there being 5 inches of snow. Should there not be we will reschedule for January or February as able with the weather.
