Blessing of the Animals

Our pets bring us joy, comfort, and companionship each day—and they are truly a blessing from God! On Sunday, October 19 from 3:00–4:00pm, you are invited to join us on the grassy area in front of the church for our Blessing of the Animals service.

This is a welcoming outdoor event where we give thanks for all of God’s creatures, great and small. After a brief service, individual blessings will be offered for each animal present. All pets are welcome—whether furry, feathered, scaled, or otherwise—so long as they are safely secured.

If your pet would not enjoy the crowd, you’re encouraged to bring a picture or even a plush toy to represent them during the blessing. Come celebrate the joy of creation and the gift of our beloved companions.
