Kraj ljeta u Omišlju već tradicionalno donosi uzbuđenje jednog od najstarijih i najznačajnijih big game fishing natjecanja na Jadranu – legendarnog BIG OM-a!
Od srijede, 3. rujna, do subote, 6. rujna, više od 40 posada i 150 natjecatelja okušat će sreću i vještine u lovu na velike morske trofeje – od igluna do najtraženije kraljice Jadrana – tune. Natjecanje se odvija po principu “catch & release”, dok će najveći primjerci biti javno vagani na Rivi uz pravu ribolovnu atmosferu i bogatu gastronomsku ponudu. 🐟🍴

Every late summer, Omišalj hosts one of the oldest and most important big game fishing competitions in the Adriatic – the legendary BIG OM!
From Wednesday, September 3 to Saturday, September 6, more than 40 crews and 150 competitors will test their skills and luck in the Kvarner Bay, fishing for impressive catches like swordfish and the most valuable prize – tuna. The competition follows the “catch & release” rules, while the biggest catches will be weighed publicly on the waterfront, accompanied by a true fishing atmosphere and delicious tuna specialties. 🐟🍴
