The ninth installation of the NordPhil philosophy conference will be held in Riga, Latvia, on September 4-5, 2025. This year, the organizing duties are taken up by the Latvian philosophy journal "Tvērums" in collaboration with the University of Latvia.
NordPhil is a philosophy conference series for students affiliated with Nordic universities. It has been previously held at the University of Oslo, Uppsala University, Lund University, University of Copenhagen, Stockholm University, Tampere University, and University of Tartu.
NordPhil provides a platform for aspiring philosophers who wish to develop their professional skills and test their ideas in an encouraging critical environment. More broadly, the conference intends to foster a greater exchange of ideas between Nordic philosophers with the long-term goal of promoting the international standing of Nordic philosophy.
The organizing team invites applicants to submit an extended abstract on any area of philosophy to be presented in the conference - the submission deadline is July 10th.

Devītā "NordPhil" filosofijas konference norisināsies Rīgā no 4. līdz 5. septembrim! Šogad organizēšanas pienākumus uzņēmies filosofijas žurnāls "Tvērums" sadarbībā ar Latvijas Universitāti.
"NordPhil" ir filosofijas konferenču sērija ziemeļvalstu universitātēs studējošajiem. Tā iepriekš norisinājusies Oslo Universitātē, Upsalas Universitātē, Lundas Universitātē, Kopenhāgenas Universitātē, Stokholmas Universitātē, Tamperes Universitātē un Tartu Universitātē.
"NordPhil" ir platforma centīgiem filosofiem, kas vēlas attīstīt profesionālās iemaņas un pakļaut savas idejas kritiski rosinošam izvērtējumam. Plašākā ziņā konference tiecas veicināt lielāku domapmaiņu ziemeļvalstu filosofu vidū; tās ilgtermiņa mērķis ir uzlabot ziemeļvalstu filosofijas vietu starptautiskajā arēnā.
Organizatori aicina iesūtīt prezentāciju pieteikumus (anotācijas) par jebkuru filosofijas tēmu līdz 10. jūlijam.
