EKLEKTIKA ir bungas ar diviem ragiem - instrumentālās mūzikas trio, kurā apvienojušies bundzinieks Kārlis Roberts Kalējs, saksofonists Rūdolfs Pēteris Rubenis un klarnetists Artūrs Bariss.
Neparastā sastāva dēļ grupai izveidojies unikāls skanējums, kuru papildina eksperimenti ar efektiem un dažādu žanru muzikālo nokrāsu kombinēšana. Trio radītajās skaņu ainavās sastopama meditatīva džeza improvizācija, fanka, fusion, kā arī progresīvā roka, austrumu un psihodēliskās mūzikas elementi. Savos koncertos EKLEKTIKA klausītāju ved muzikālā ceļojumā cauri plaša spektra skaņu un frekvenču kontrastiem, ļaujot ikvienam grupas radīto mūziku sajust citādāk.
Pagājušā gada nogalē grupa klajā laida savu debijas albumu "Encounters, kas jau izpelnījies atzinību arī ārpus Latvijas robežām, kā arī ticis nominēts LSM gada balvai "Kilograms kultūras" ziemas balsojumam nominācijā STARTS. Albumu iespējams noklausīties Spotify, Bandcamp un citās straumēšanas vietnēs.

EKLEKTIKA is drums with two horns – an instrumental music trio featuring drummer Kārlis Roberts Kalējs, saxophonist Rūdolfs Pēteris Rubenis, and clarinetist Artūrs Bariss.
Due to its unusual lineup, the band has developed a distinctive sound, enriched by experiments with effects and the blending of various musical genres. The trio’s soundscapes feature meditative jazz improvisation, funk, fusion, as well as elements of progressive rock, Eastern music, and psychedelia. In their live performances, EKLEKTIKA takes the listener on a musical journey through a wide range of sounds and frequencies, allowing each person to experience the music in their own unique way.
At the end of last year, the band released their debut album "Encounters", which has already received recognition beyond Latvia’s borders and was nominated for the Latvian Public Media cultural award in the STARTS category during the winter voting round. The album is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, and other streaming platforms.
