We welcome you to join us in riding in memory of Russell!
Russell D. Books, a cherished son, fiancé, father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on May 23, 2024, in his hometown of Platteville, WI at the age of 21. Born on April 1, 2003, to James Books and Paula (Reggie) Reeson, Russell's early life in Dodgeville, WI was filled with the warmth of a close-knit family and the joys of a childhood surrounded by the idyllic landscapes of Wisconsin. The birth of his son, Westley Books, marked the most joyful and transformative moment in Russell's life. He embraced fatherhood with an open heart and cherished every moment spent with Westley, imparting love and life lessons that will continue to guide his son in the years to come.
*All ATV/UTVs, vehicles, and bikes are welcome.
*Ride leaves at 11am sharp and returning by 5pm.
*Donations are welcome but this is simply to come together and ride in memory of Russell (no registration fee).
*Meal will be provided at the end of the ride in Hyde.
