This four-session Pottery Wheel Class for Beginners will teach you all of the basics of throwing on the wheel and working with clay. You will learn how to properly prepare your clay body, center and open on the wheel as well as trimming and glazing your final pieces. Participants will have the opportunity to create, glaze, and keep two of their finished pieces.
In addition to the 6 hours of instruction, participants will receive an additional 2 hours of open studio time to come in and continue practice during non-class times. *Clay usage & Firing Fees, if applicable, are charged separately during open studio time.
This class is perfect for a beginner or for those who are looking for more practice on the wheel. All materials are provided and no prior experience is required. Please wear clothes that can get messy. We provide aprons.

Each class is held from 6pm to 7:30pm
$200.00/person
This class is for ages 16 and over.
Maximum of 10 seats.
This class also fulfills the prerequisite for Studio Membership for those interested in continuing their pottery journey.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations are refundable if requested 5 days before the first class.
Cancellations with less than 5 days notice will receive credit to use on future classes.
No-shows are non-refundable.
