Veterans For Fishing Christmas party and family fun day

Saturday, 29th November. Our annual Christmas party will be held on Saturday, 29th November at Riddles Creek. This event is held on private property and a working farm, so please respect our hosts who generously allow us to fish their private lake. No dogs are allowed; service dogs are accepted but must be on a lead 100% of the time. This is a DAYTIME event only and will start at 09:00 till 16:00. A free BBQ lunch will be provided, as well as water. Like all of our events, VFF will provide all fishing tackle, rods and reels, bait, and one of our 100% volunteer crew can help you set up. However, we do have limited gear, so it pays to arrive early, and it may be one rod and reel per couple, or bring your own kit and go for it. It is always a great social day, so even if you don't want to fish, pop down for a chat and a BBQ lunch. Veteran Santa will be there for the kids, as well as his gentle giant Elf . Angler of the day prizes will be handed out at 14:00, with some awesome lure and tackle packs available. Frost Lane, Riddles Creek Vic follow the signs to the Cattlemens hut
