Yoga Foundations Series: Build Confidence, Alignment, and Ease
This 8-week Yoga Foundations Series is designed for anyone who is new to yoga or looking to slow down and deepen their understanding of the practice in a supportive, small-group setting.
If you’ve ever felt unsure in class, wondered if you were “doing it right,” or wanted more personal guidance than a regular drop-in class can offer, this series is for you.
Over the course of eight weeks, we will focus on:
-learning foundational yoga poses step by step
-proper hand and foot placement to support safe alignment
-moving with the breath at a slow, steady pace
-building body awareness, confidence, and mindfulness
-understanding how poses should feel in your body
Classes will include detailed verbal instruction and gentle, optional hands-on adjustments to help you feel supported, aligned, and comfortable in each pose. The pace will be intentionally slower, allowing time to ask questions, explore movement, and build a strong, sustainable foundation.
This series is ideal if you:
-are new to yoga
-want to feel more confident in class
-prefer smaller groups and personal attention
-want to move safely and with intention
-are returning to yoga after time away
-want to deepen your practice without intensity
By the end of the series, you’ll have a clearer understanding of yoga fundamentals, feel more at ease in your body, and be better prepared to step into other classes with confidence.
