Improv 101: Intro to Improv (Sundays 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

Explore the fundamentals of improv - agreement, commitment, teamwork, spontaneity and listening through fun exercises and group play.

Dates: This is an 8-week course with classes on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The first class is scheduled for Sunday, August 10th, and the last class will be held on Sunday, October 5th. There will be no class on Sunday, August 31st, due to the Labor Day Holiday. A Student Showcase will be scheduled for an evening during the week of October 5th or 12th.

Instructor: Nicole Krause

Nicole Krause, originally from Wisconsin, moved to Richmond in 2005. She performs on the house team Silver Child and performed a limited-run of short-form musical improv on Hear Me Out. When not at the theater, she enjoys game nights, thrift-shops, camping, and fiber crafts. Nicole is excited for the fun and discovery of Improv 101!

COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)

The Coalition Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Once classes begin, all sales are final. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending or completing your registered class. While we do our best to accommodate such situations, refunds are awarded only as credit for a future class or shows and are subject to the discretion of The Coalition Theater management. Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any decisions regarding refunds will be made at the discretion of the theater.
