Invitation to the Public October 16, 2025 @ 7:00 PM Richmond Public Library
The Richmond Human Rights Commission welcomes the public to attend our upcoming October meeting, where guest speaker Chris Hartman will address Kentucky’s Fairness Ordinances. He will discuss the significance of implementing such an ordinance in Richmond and why the present moment is critical for this initiative.
Context for Richmond
Richmond stands as one of Kentucky’s fastest-growing cities, yet it remains behind in terms of human rights progression. It is imperative for Richmond to join the 26 other communities across the state that have already adopted a Fairness Ordinance to ensure equal protection for all residents.
