DYSLEXIA - Beyond the Label

Join us for an insightful and practical training session where we go beyond the label of dyslexia to explore how our teaching practices can truly reflect the principles of the UNCRC.

What to Expect:

Understanding Dyslexia Today: Revisit traditional
definitions and compare them with the most current
understanding. What impact does this shift have on learners and educators?

Voices and Experiences: Reflect on the lived
experiences of children and young people with literacy
difficulties — whether diagnosed or not — and what we can learn from their stories.

Practical Strategies: Reassess the tools, strategies, and resources we use. How can we integrate them more
effectively to ensure every learner has the opportunity to flourish?

This session is designed for anyone working with children and young people — helping you create an inclusive, supportive environment where all learners can develop their talents and abilities.
