ART-ivism Series: Patch Making/ September 6,2025 / 12:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.

From punk rock jackets to protest banners, patches have long been a symbol of self-expression, resistance, and identity. At this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the rich history of patches within the counterculture movement—how they’ve been used to challenge norms, broadcast beliefs, and build communities. Participants will be given the select studio supplies to make their own canvas patches, and we’ll have needles, thread, and a sewing machine to attach patches to garments if desired! This drop-in friendly workshop (final entry, 2:00 P.M.) will be priced on a sliding scale studio fee of $5, $7, or $10.
