A New Way of Life - VICYPAA CONVENTION 2025 (with Al-Anon participation)

The Victorian Young People in AA (VICYPAA) Convention with Al-Anon participation returns for 2025. A New Way of Life is a celebration of life recovery. Whether you're new to recovery or have been walking this path for decades, this convention is a chance to enjoy a full day of connection, laughter, spiritual growth and recovery.

The day will feature two rooms of meetings — one focused on AA topics, and the other hosting Al-Anon sessions. Meeting themes include Powerless But Not Hopeless, Spiritual Concepts & Tools for a New Way of Life, Recovery, Unity & Service: Living the 12 Traditions, Sponsorship in Action, Young, Sober & Not Boring, and more.

🕘 Schedule

• Doors open for registration: 8:30am
• Program: 9:15am - 4:30pm (includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea breaks)
• Closing meeting & sobriety countdown: 3:00pm
• After Party: 6:30pm - 9:30pm (with rapid-fire shares, party games & dance-karaoke!)

• Tea, coffee & snacks provided for morning and afternoon tea
• Light lunch included, or explore the nearby cafes on Bridge Road
• Close to public transport, limited street parking (please plan ahead)
