What to expect:
Assisted by input received at previous Builders’ Breakfasts in April, May, June and September 2025, City staff have now developed a set of draft recommendations for consideration by City Council. These recommendations are intended to best support local homebuilders to achieve success in building new houses, multiplexes, small-scale multi-unit housing (SSMUH) and townhouses to both current and future Step Code requirements.
We invite you to review and provide your feedback regarding these draft recommendations. Input received will help inform the finalized recommendations presented to Council for their consideration.
In addition, we will have a presentation from TECA on Residential Air to Air Heat Pump Design Review for Builders.
This event is eligible for BC Housing CPD credits.
