THINGS ARE CHANGING FOR THE BETTER
We apologize to our membership and to fellow flood enthusiasts for the long absence of presentations, lectures and outings. Our Lake Lewis Chapter has been off the radar for a while searching for new volunteers and, frankly, for younger leadership. The good news is we have found it. We now have new members ready to step in and step up our longstanding efforts to share the story of the ancient megafloods that carved through the Pacific Northwest, forever changing our landscape. It is our mission to educate and inform the general public of the Ice Age Floods history through free lectures, hikes, and public events and we will continue to do so.
Get ready for more lectures from flood experts and more events like HIKES! We are in the planning stages for 2026 lining up speakers and organizing outings to explore our floodscape geology. So, stay tuned and try to support us by joining our membership and attending as many IAFI events as you can.
