📖 Director’s Note
This production will lean into themes of escapism and dreams. We will also explore the particular dynamic of the family centered around a gay man.

Sunday, December 7 — 6:00–7:45 PM (every 15 min)
Monday, December 8 — 6:00–6:30 PM (every 15 min)

⚠️ Note: We would prefer to see monologues on Sunday, December 7, if possible! Cold reads will start at 7:00 PM on Monday evening, December 8.
📢 If the sign-up form gives you trouble, arrive at 6:00 PM on either day, ready to perform your monologue.
🌟 Roles Available:
Amanda (the mother) - a woman seeking meaning and control by clinging to nostalgia and living vicariously through her daughter
Tom (her son) - our narrator, a stifled poet forced to decide between duty to his family and following his dreams
Laura (her daughter) - a quiet daydreamer isolated from the world due to insecurities stemming from a childhood illness that left her disabled
Jim (the gentleman caller) - A nice, ordinary, young man
