Fall Chinook Update - CCA TC General Meeting

It’s been a while! It’s time for a CCA general meeting to get back up to speed on our local fisheries, and on the upcoming King of the Reach live capture volunteer event at the end of October.



We’ll meet at La Bella Vita restaurant (1515 George Washington Way, Richland) in the upper lobby area on Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm. We’re having a board meeting preceding the general meeting so if you arrive early you’re welcome to join us. If you want to have dinner we encourage you to call ahead and pre-order.



Todd Miller of WDFW will be present to talk about this year’s run progress and forecast (I think we’ve all seen the slow pace of McNary passage this year, hopefully improving by next week) as well as a recap of the importance of the King of the Reach angler broodstock collection that will be coming up October 24 and 25.



I’ll provide some more information about the plans for the broodstock collection, as well as tips and tricks on how and where to fish locally for kings as they start to arrive.
