The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world—so when they crash Sunday school and insist on taking over the Christmas pageant, the whole town spirals into panic. There’s definitely not supposed to be cigar-smoking, biting, or wildly inaccurate rewrites in Bethlehem!
But as reluctant director Grace Bradley and the Reverend try to keep the pageant from falling apart, the community begins to see the Christmas story—and the infamous Herdman kids—through fresh, heartfelt eyes. This buoyant musical adaptation of the beloved holiday classic is funny, touching, and full of surprises.
